INDUSTRIES / FITNESS CENTERS & GYMS

MEMBERS QUIT OVER LOCKER ROOMS.

Nobody cancels because of the dumbbells. They cancel because the shower grout is dark, the steam room smells, and the turf holds odor. We run overnight and split-shift crews who know the chemistry each surface needs and who finish before the 5 am door opens.

WHAT FITNESS CENTERS & GYMS BUY FROM US

THE WORK THAT KEEPS RETENTION UP.

Humidity, sweat, and constant traffic break a club down faster than any other building type. These are the lanes that decide whether a member renews.

  • 01

    EQUIPMENT DISINFECTION

    Cardio, selectorized, free weights

Touchpoints, handles, screens, and benches wiped with dwell-time compliant disinfectant, plus restocked member wipe stations throughout the floor.

    See the service
  • 02

    LOCKER ROOMS AND SHOWERS

    Where clubs get judged

Tile and grout scrubbed, drains treated, benches and lockers wiped, and steam rooms serviced on a schedule that stops mold before it colors the grout.

  • 03

    SPECIALTY FLOORING

    Rubber, turf, studio wood

Rubber and turf need neutral pH and the right dilution or they gum up and hold smell. Studio wood gets its own process so it stays safe to land on.

  • 04

    DAYTIME PORTERS

    Peak-hour coverage

Towel handling, restroom checks, mirror and glass touchups, and spill response during the 5 am and 6 pm rushes when the club looks the busiest.

    See the service
  • 05

    HUMIDITY AND AIR QUALITY

    Pool decks and steam areas

Exhaust and rooftop unit maintenance, filter changes, and moisture control so wet zones dry out instead of feeding mold.

  • 06

    ENTRY AND LOT IN WINTER

    Salt out, members in

Matting programs, walk clearing, and lot plowing so members are not tracking Minnesota road salt onto rubber flooring all February.

HOW IT WORKS FOR FITNESS CENTERS & GYMS

CLEAN BEFORE THE FIRST MEMBER BADGES IN.

We build the schedule around your access hours, not ours. Clubs with 24-hour entry get split shifts. Clubs that close get a full overnight window.

  1. 01

    CLUB WALKTHROUGH

Floor zones, surface types, locker and shower counts, wet areas, peak hours, and the complaints showing up in member surveys.

  2. 02

    CHEMISTRY AND SCOPE

Written product list by surface, disinfection frequencies, and a schedule that fits your access hours and staffing model.

  3. 03

    MANAGED CREWS

Trained overnight or split-shift teams working a checklist, with photo verification on locker rooms and wet areas.

  4. 04

    MONTHLY INSPECTION

Scored walkthrough covering grout, drains, odor, equipment touchpoints, and flooring condition, delivered to your general manager.

FITNESS CENTERS & GYMS QUESTIONS

STRAIGHT ANSWERS BEFORE THE WALKTHROUGH.

Can you clean a gym that never closes?

Yes. For 24-hour clubs we run split shifts, usually a heavy overnight team in the low-traffic window and a lighter daytime porter. Work is sequenced zone by zone so no area is ever fully out of service.

How do you stop locker room odor and mold?

Odor almost always traces to drains, grout, and standing moisture rather than surfaces. We scrub and treat grout on a rotation, apply drain treatment, and address exhaust and drying time so the source is removed instead of masked with fragrance.

What do you use on rubber and turf flooring?

Neutral pH cleaners at manufacturer dilution, applied with equipment that lifts soil rather than driving it into the surface. High-alkaline products and the wrong pads will make rubber tacky and shorten its life, so those never go on the floor.

Do you restock member wipe stations?

Yes. Wipes, spray bottles, and paper are carried as consumables on a par level and refilled every visit. Empty stations are the single most visible cleanliness failure in a club, so they are on the inspection checklist.

Can you handle the pool deck and steam room?

Yes, including deck scrubbing, drain lines, and steam room surfaces. We coordinate around chemical service and follow the manufacturer process for steam room materials, which are easy to damage with the wrong product.
